HAVOC TELEVISION TEAMS WITH NON-PROFIT MUSIC SAVES LIVES
Havoc Television Airs a Music Saves Lives Night on DirecTV’s Channel 101 to Promote Blood Donation
HAVOC TELEVISION, the nation’s only independently-owned indie music and action sports network, has teamed up this summer with the non-profit organization MUSIC SAVES LIVES.
This summer, MUSIC SAVES LIVES, the trusted conduit between music, entertainment and important life-saving causes, has teamed up with the world famous Vans Warped Tour, and blood banks across the nation, to rally thousands of concert goers to give blood and to sign up for the national bone marrow registry program. MUSIC SAVES LIVES blood drives are running a few weeks and days before the Vans Warped Tour and every participant who donates blood gets a one-day VIP backstage access pass in addition to the opportunity to save someone's life.
On July 26th HAVOC TELEVISION will dedicate an entire night of their “Havoc on the 101” program to MUSIC SAVES LIVES, with all four hours of the show hosted by a MUSIC SAVES LIVES host, and programmed entirely by music videos from bands that support the MUSIC SAVES LIVES organization, including Head Automatica, New Found Glory, Anberlin, Yellowcard, Jack’s Mannequin, Relient K, and more.
HAVOC TELEVISION, produces “Havoc on the 101,” a daily music video show on DIRECTV’s CHANNEL 101, airing 35-hours per week and available in 16-million homes nationwide. Havoc is also available via Video-on-Demand in over 40-million TV homes, on 25 cable operators.
HAVOC TELEVISION was on-hand with MUSIC SAVES LIVES in Southern California for the first two stops of this summer’s Warped Tour, promoting this great cause and getting the word out through band interviews and concert coverage.
MUSIC SAVES LIVES’ goal is to collect 30,000 units of blood this summer. If they reach this goal, it will be the largest summer collection program targeting the under-25 age group in history.
HAVOC TELEVISION is at the cutting edge of music and sports entertainment, and is proud to be a part of the groundbreaking MUSIC SAVES LIVES summer blood drive, capped by the special MUSIC SAVES LIVES night on DirecTV’s Channel 101, July 26th, starting at 11pm PST.
